The DVD will be considered a "Drivers DVD". There will be minimal editing, minimal effects, and even though I'll probably lay a background track (low volume), I don't plan on matching beats, etc.

I don't plan on selling alot of these DVD's. I figure that there were 31 drivers, so I might sell 20. ANYBODY THAT WANTS ONE, CAN BUY 1 (you don't have to be a driver). I just want you to understand that the whole video won't be "perfect" drifting....it will have alot of spinouts.

My reasoning for this is 2-fold.
1. Everybody wants to see how THEY did. (I have SEVERAL runs from EVERY DRIVER!)
2. There isn't enough footage to justify a public consumption video.

After I get tape from a few more events, I'll probably combine them to create a "BEST OF" DVD for broader distribution.

With that said, I don't anticipate a profit. I just want to re-coup my investment in a new HD and memory.

The total cost for the DVD will be $15 shipped (I think that's a fair price). I will take paypal. The DVDs should be ready in 2 weeks. I will accept "pre-Payments" .

Does this mean the price of future DVD's will drop as the hardware is paid for?
And even though it's necessary for making the DVD, charging money to cover hardware costs IS profit...you get to keep all the extra stuff when it's done.....not really meaning to bitch, I just don't like the idea of people making money off of the drivers who had to pay for the event (I'll probably buy a dvd)
