the 7.5" would work fine. An 8.8 would be the best though. There is a lot more available for it, and a nicely done 8.8 will handle over 800+ hp

Both came with rear disc depending what car you take it out. Fox body mustang 8.8s are rear drums and are a clutch type LSD. It works well and the diff only costs $35 to rebuild.
