If anyone was looking to do any computer datalogging or instrumentation projects you might be as interested in the following product as I am.
Its got 11 channels of 12 bit 0-5 or 0-2.5 volt data resolution and 3 digital inputs and 3 digital outputs. Its powered by 12 volts and has a maximum sampling rate of 120 measurements per second.
Those kinds of capabilities used to cost several hundred dollars back in the 90s but its much cheaper now. This unit is only $65.

Since the A/D is only good enough for EGT and CHT thermocouples, tempature sensors and pressure transducers I will need to get one of the following to keep track of speed and RPMs.

This way for a few hundred bucks, a small computer in the trunk and some time spent programming I can have a neato flat screen display in my car giving me data on everything from temperatures and pressures to instantaneous horsepower.

If I ever feel that my HKS AIC III does not have the tuneability that I need I can always just use one of the following and use the additional outputs to control.
Its not that hard to make some cool looking instrumentation for a PC nowadays.
