ok,
ALL modern fuel injection cars run an oxygen sensor. both MAF and MAP variaties.
the O2 sensor is usually used for what are called long and short term fuel corrections. short term is an instantaneous correction to the amount of fuel supplied, long term is a pre-calculated correction to the amount of fuel supplied. on SR's an KA's the O2 correction is only short term form the best of my knowledge. it is also only applicable to certain areas of the fuel maps. usually under light load conditions. also, the O2 sensor usually gets ignored during WOT. so, why do we want to eliminate the O2 sensor, it doesnt really hurt us.
