I have always wanted a DSS short block (for like 10 years now ) and have done a lot of research and everything has always come back good until lately. I have noticed a lot of DSS shortblocks for sale in the various Ford sites classified sections.

As a matter a fact I was looking at one last night and found a ad on Corral for a DSS 347. The ad said it had two new rods and pistons in the shortblock. Which tells me two broke.

Don't know what to tell you for sure. I do not think Powered By Ford in Orlando does much anymore.
