check your crank very carefully. i found a micro scratch in my crank after my compression ratio caused the oil to squeeze out of the bearing causing it to look like a mirror.

but i took care of that.
my advice is to spend the $$$ and go with honda bearings. whenever you order bearings from anyone make sure that you tell them the exact year and model of your car/engine.
on the bottom of my sohc block it reads PM6 so when i ordered my Honda bearings from Honda, i made sure that the code had a PM6 in it. make sure you do the same.
we ended up taking my engine back out. we replaced the rod and main bearings and rebalanced and polished the crank.
you can spend time and money now or a lot of time and money later.
good luck.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
