no, it needs an H22 swap and an LSD and some custom driveshafts. thats what it really needs. to be a well balanced car and not totally guady, it would do well w/ a B16B or something... you know from the 99ish civic Si's or even a GSR motor i guess. it would be perfect for auto-x. light, nimble and a proper balance of power to weight.

if i was gonna be biased and say retarded stuff, id say it needs to be tubeframed and have a 7M put in it... or a 4G63, a REAL 4 cylinder motor. none of this Vtec crap.

btw, you do realize thats a Crix right... not a Rex. a Rex is what i drive to work everyday, like you see in the pic.
