Oh you will be safe with stock plugs. I have sprayed 120 shots on a all stock D16A6 all day on the street with stock plugs. It worked good. Just make sure you ignition system is in tip-top shape. If you r doubting it just upgrade. You will be fine.

I'm sure your "stock" valves were also fine. Was that the same motor that is missing 2 rods thanks to the "safe" shot you run?
