You'd think so, but did you take a look at the link? This wasn't just some good equipment thrown in a car...this install took 3 weekends and alot of research to complete. I can usually design, build, and install a complete system in a single weekend. We built the car to compete in SQ competitions. The entire car was stripped and sound damped, custom fiberglass kickpanels were fabricated (there are no production kicks for the mx-6) and the tweets and 4" mids were aimed for optimal imaging. Then you might say, well they were probably underpowered...well, I would think 100w RMS per side is more than enough. And on top of all that, we even put in an AudioControl linedriver to boost and filter the signal, along with a 1 farad cap with digital readout to monitor and maintain the current.
I'm not saying it doesn't sound good...it does. Ofcourse it would put to shame anything sold in Best Buy or Circuit City. But for all the hype and hoopla over CDT, I definetly wouldn't say they're "the best". Maybe my expectations were just set too high.
LoL I was jus trying to get to you. Accually that setup looks good as hell. I love how u did the 4 subs like that. 2 subs goin up and 2 stayin back. Mad props for that install looks really good. And yeah I know it would outdo CC and Best Buy crap LoL. Im going to upgrade my system later. Right now I am trying to afford some exaust and new shit for the computer. The system is resting on upgrades for now
