Sneakin - The problem was that I had a check engine light for 02 sensor in the exhaust, since there was no cat. Problem is, I never re-checked the check engine light to make sure there was nothing else. But of course, there was. The Knock sensor was malfuctioning, and wasn't retarding timing when it started to detonate. That added with the boost spike caused one of the cylinder walls to score. That was about all the damage I had. Anyway, the old block is getting shipped to ohio for rebuilding, and I am in the process of doing a new turbo kit, with a Garret GT35 on it. I have a friend down in naples making 564@rwhp with 116 octane fuel. (chrisdrivesafastcar.com) My engine and turbo kit is basically going to be the same design from him....
Dan - That kid pissed me off more than anything that night. I can't believe he challenged a turbo s2k with his stock s2k, and actually thought he was going to win. His attitude is what got me! I honestly just wanna hang out with your gang out there, as I had alot of fun that night. I hope all goes well with your car, and I am wrenching on it.
