You would get power to the rear wheels the same as you would a bike, via chain and sprockets. You'll probably only want to send power to one wheel though. Otherwise you'll have problems with the steering. It'll want to go straight all the time.
Trust me, watch that vid and you will see that having only one wheel powered would not be good enough
