acctually the S2K like the 350Z can give you a run kenny...if the guy knew how to drive it....it takes a 6k dump to get out hard in those...for example...you know the night you and i were at sunshine last ...a freind brought his M roadster down...granted a V6 but 240 hp also...he pulled off a 1.911 60 in his first pass ever on street tires,and later 4 passes later went 1.8...the s2ooo can pull a 1.9 in stock form but it's rear in the hand s of it's average driver,it also can go 13.8 in the 1/4...i mentioned the z earlier because it too is capable of these same times and i think is a car of similar speed
M's have Inline 6's not V6's, and the S2000 can't touch them from a dig or a roll. I've run some hard tuned S2000's and haven't been beaten yet in my Factor M Coupe. The S2000 was never meant to be a drag machine. It's low torque gets it owned every day. The beauty of the S2K is it's light weight and nimble handling capabilities. If this kid had any brains at all, he would have said he'd have told you he meant he was fast on windy roads instead of trying to be a 1/4 mile king.
Hell... even with my M, I only tell people I'm moderatly fast, and respectible for a 100% stock car. I'm
far from the fastest thing on the road.
