I was going to do the same thing with a R1 motor I have, but decided against it. That's a sweet idea though.
You would get power to the rear wheels the same as you would a bike, via chain and sprockets. You'll probably only want to send power to one wheel though. Otherwise you'll have problems with the steering. It'll want to go straight all the time.
