I just recently got a 1982 320i because I needed something to drive. I'm the 3rd owner...the guy I bought it from only had it for a couple of months. I love it for what it is, I just miss being in a VW. It's a 5speed. For some reason, the original owner decided that it would be cool to stick a carburetor on the engine. It has a Weber 32/36 on it. I've been driving it daily for the last few weeks with no real problems. The carburetor does need tuning, though. The idle is a little rough and its running a little rich right now. The interior is mint. There are no tears in the seats and the headliner is still in good condition. There are a few cracks on the dash, but the rest of the interior makes up for it. It's got the pop out windows in the back and will come with an extra one. Sunroof still works (manual crank). The front bumper is currently off, but I've got it. With a little bit of money put into it, this thing could be presidential. I was told that the odometer stopped like 6 months ago...and it's at 125xxx, so a safe estimate would be around 135xxx now. I didn't get any previous maintenance info from the p/o. I do know that he changed the fuel pump...so it has a brand new fuel pump in it. Really only interested in trades because I need something to drive. Not really looking for any project mk2 or anything.
