yea i read i need a sc w58 if i dont want to get a driveshaft spacer because of the longer tailshaft and the shifter position i wont have to cut my tunnel up and have my hand slamming into my radio and shit. i guess the mk3, mk4 and sc w58's all have different shifter positions too. i wonder if i can use a sc ecu and make my motor rev to 6700.......and im going to fab up some new tabs on the diff to change my rear end out from the 3.62 in the ls to the 4.27 out of the auto sc300 or the mk4 supra n/a rear w/lsd if i can find one. so 5 spd, 4.27 rear and a 75 shot might make my boat move a lil quicker.

you can use a mk4 w58 as well, it has the shifter back where you need it. just like the sc300 trans. that or a soarer r154. good luck finding one of those though.
