Default FS: 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo. 5Speed, Targa, Light Mods

SOLD!!!!

Well its time for me to let go of this car for now. Other things in life have taken priority. One day Ill come back to another MK3 but for now I have to move on.

Some history on the car. I bought the car about 7 years ago. It had 44K miles on it. It is a Pearl White color with originally Burgandy leather interior. The headgasket blew (shocker I know) and I used that opportunity to rebuild the engine completely. There are a few internal mods (Ill list everything at the bottom), but basically a nice clean stockish rebuild. It does have the Cometic MHG and ARP studs of course.

The car was mildly modded to the point of an upgraded CT26 and piggyback electronics etc. Was boosted to about 17PSI at times. Since then the car has been stripped of a lot of its mods and been driven around as barely BPU for the past couple of years. The car has basically sat (started and driven every now and then) for the past year or so.

As it sits the car runs and drives but needs the valve stem seals replaced as it smokes blue a bit at startup when it sits for a bit and then once it goes away when driving it it puts out little puffs of blue smoke on take offs etc.

It is missing most of its interior however it does have a MINT MINT MINT black dash and basically brand new black carpet.

The tranny works well except 2nd gear synchro is going out, still works fine just have to let the revs drop a little bit to have it slide in, or bang it in and make it worse haha.

The engine has approximately 20K miles on it while the body has approximately 100-105K miles on it now.

The car has been in three small fender bender accidents. No frame or any type of that damage. One of the accidents was when it was parked and a drunk driver nicked the back hatch, another was when stopped in traffic a dump truck nicked the back bumper, and the final one was when it was raining with bad tires the back end came out (was only going about 25 MPH) and the front fender/bumper hit a rail. All accident damage is cosmetic only and easily fixable. One final thing is there is a spot on the passenger door that some asshole kids tried to shoot out the window and missed (no idea how) and so theres a bb sized spot where it hit. ALL PICTURES OF DAMAGES ARE IN THE PICS.

Thats about it. Ill list the mods still on the car and post all the pics I took. They are semi crappy because they are from my iPhone but if youre serious then we can meet up for you to look at it.

PICS, Car is extremely dirty as again its been sitting for a long time:

MODS:

ARP Main Studs
ARP Flywheel Bolts
Spec Stage 3 Clutch Kit
Custom SS Oil Line (Pump to Block)
Cometic MHG
ARP Head Studs
Fluidyne Radiator
NGK Spark Plug Wires
Cusco Coilovers
Optima Redtop Battery
Manual Boost Controller
K&N Filter (Dirty)
Earls SS Brake Lines
Brembo Cross Drilled Rotors
Eagle Vacuum Manifold Box
JDM Tail Lights
JDM 89+ Moldings (Including the rear corners that delete sidemarkers)
Fully Polished Valve Covers (Dirty)

Its very possible that Im forgetting some things but thats probably most of it.

The car has sawblades on it with really crappy tires. If youre willing to deal with that it most certainly can be driven where ever you need to bring it etc. It doesnt have a downpipe/exhaust coming off the turbo however.

So thats about all the info I can think of. If there are any questions feel free to ask. Im looking to sell this ASAP and within the next 3 weeks for sure. Car is located off of Dale Mabry by the stadium.

Heres the bottom line.

ASKING PRICE: $2300

I feel this is justified as its a running driving turbo 5spd 89+ Supra with almost 2K in mods. If I parted it out I could get very close to this amount, but I dont have the time nor the heart to tear it apart like that. Im willing to negotiate and as always CASH TALKS. It has a CLEAN/CLEAR title in my hand.

I WILL NOT TRADE THE CAR UNLESS ITS A RIDICULOUS OFFER FOR SOMETHING THAT IS A YEAR 2000 OR NEWER AND IS SOMETHING I CAN USE. NO 87 HONDA CIVIC HATCHBACKS WITH INTAKES AND MUFFLERS.

ONE QUICK THING...WILL ALSO POSSIBLY CONSIDER A CASH+TRADE FOR A 40"+ LCD HDTV.

Please post and/or PM if you are interested or have any questions. Thanks for taking the time to look and read.

The interior was removed to convert to full black, and the project, as a lot of my other projects with the car, never got finished completely. It was originally burgandy leather interior.

Thanks for the words on the deal. If you know anyone who might be interested, let them know

Sweet deal man selling the car already after about a week of being up for sale. Good price and pretty clean too bad we don't have more cars like that for sale and not these overpriced shit boxes.
