Ok so i spun a bearing in my 7m(it was on the way out)i really don't feel like machining the crank and putting it all back together.so heres the deal.

i need a 7m-ge long block with no BHG or knock,i know this is really hard for 7m's.now the even harder part i only have $200 to spend.

But it does need to have a harness or manifolds or any other electronics/accessories.

A compression test would be nice.i'm learning from my last motor.

I do have some 7m-gte parts i could trade with cash.but really trying to sell extra stuff so i can pay more than $200.I picked up my old motor for $250 and everything was there the guy who sold it didn't know it had rod knock and i couldn't tell till lit was swapped in my car.

^^^ my Japanese is very rusty but that doesn't seem to have anything to do with jdm motors.

 

theres like 4 mk3's n/a and a 89 cressida at cophers on causway in tampa. all have 7mge's in them. i think the cressida had body damage so that would be a good engine to grab. id grab the head and block together, without accessories. should be under 200 with core and already has the oil pan and pump on it you need for the mk2. however they punched a hole in the pan so either weld that hole shut or put your pan on it. good luck with it. sucks about your engine getting rod knock.

 

was there a week ago and didn't see a 89 cressida.

 

i was there 2 weeks ago and did. you have to llook close. easy to miss. didnt even notice it was a 89+ cressida till i saw the 7m in it. i saw the orange 82 mk2 hardtop also. almost thought of grabbing the headliner and cutting the roof off to make my sunroof car hardtop but said fuck it.

 

saw the 83,gutted to almost nothing,looked like a L-type.saw looks of 5m-ge cressidas.
