I have a AE86 sr5 shell and need a motor and tranny to bolt up...also need window cranks.... thanx... ToM

 

if you want to go a for something different with a buit more fab

my boy rob has a 3tc engine for sale. 1.8 high comp somewhere around 11.1 port and polish, with a 310 cam, that motor was fully balanced and blueprinted. It beat GSR teg's so the shit gets down. all you would need for that motor is dual carbs.

( misc. hoses what not. without haveing to worry about wiring ecu.)

 

I've got a 4AGE, 2d genereation (7ribs). This is block and head only. BUT, the block needs to be rebuilt; some Yahoo replaced ONE piston and installed a wrong kind (smaller) and it would'nt reach TDC on the #2. The head looks ok, but I would suggest sent to the machine shop just in case. If you feel like building your own internals (i.e. Forged Pistons; Hi-comp), this would be a good start.
FYI...I have a buddy of mine who wanted it but have not made up his mind so if you want it and he still mumbles, we can work out a deal.

If interested, this unit is in Ocala, FL. my number is 352-361-9209 I'll let go for about $250. I used to have those window cranks when I converted to Power Windows but I beleive I disposed of them..I will check to see if they still at home somewhere.

fab would be crossmember related or motor mount related. with the right tranny so that the clutch slaves line up.

 

how much for that motor and what did it com in???
