1991 mr2 w/ gen 2 3sgte swap w/ mods * CHEAP*
I have a 1991 mr2 5spd with gen 2 3sgte swap. Car is red with grey interior. It has around 55k on the motor swap. It has these mods as far as I know:
Gen 2 3sgte swap
act clutch
greddy radiator cap
new freshly rebuilt ct-26
hks turbo timer
new alternator
gutted cats
jdm 3 inch single exit exhaust
intake
gauges
hks shift knob
new wiring harness
97 sc300 wheels with new tires(not installed or pictured)
new ttops
aftermarket steering wheel
Condition:
Car is a great project car. Just someones little time and money can finish this car up and give it its full potential. The car does run and drives great. Car boost solid and strong at stock boost. The car does not have any leaks or anything. Car shifts and drives great.
Flaws:
-Cars exterior has normal blemishes. Paint is decent, could use a new one.
-Body is pretty straight.
-Interior is missing some center pcs such as shift boot, etc.
-Car's cluster is not wired correctly as the speedo does not work and the tach needle jumps around at times.
-The gauges are not wired correctly so it doesnt work well
-Car's alternator belt squeaks loud at cold first start but goes away after revved to quiet it. I was told it needs the alternator belt adjusting bolt to be installed w/c I have. I also have a brand new alternator belt to be installed.
Other than that, this is a great car for a true mr2 turbo enthusiast. Some elbow grease and time...this car can be a real monster. Its fun the way it is now but of course, it could use some work to make perfect. I have stated as much information I know of the car so buyers are fully aware of what they are buying. I will be taking pics of the car this weekend. Im in Orlando, FL. The car has a clean Fl title ready for the buyers name to be written on it.
