Default VIN numbers READ THIS BEFORE PARTING OR SELLING A CAR
1. When parting a car out or selling a car it is going to be required to provide a VIN# If the car DOES NOT belong to you, you may NOT part it out "for a friend" or another member or the President Barack Obama, there will be NO re-distributing of wealth here without a VIN# and it is your property.

2. When parting a car out or selling a car and you are in the middle of taking pictures right clearly on a piece of paper or cardboard or the car etc the DATE and YOUR SCREEN NAME.

3. Car must belong to YOU!

While I dont disagree with you. Generally people arent comfortable posting vins with stuff they are selling thats 100% legit. Myself included(I've been robbed twice) Due to people being able to find out where they live so they can come steal it. Same reason people blank out their tags in pictures.

eh. if the sale is local then theres a fair chance they could tell where someone lives by the surrounding areas. if someone wants to find you bad enough they will. but security in buying can yield more interested buyers.
