I have ran an S14 SR20DET and S14 SR20DE(T). Both were awesome motors. Good luck with the sale, Ep.

hey Ep, or anyone who may know the answer, i'm going to be putting together a S14 SR20DE-T for Angelopolous and was wondering (i checked your pics), if the SR20DE block had provisions for oil/water lines.... i'm think yes, and that they're just closed off with a bolt or something...

i would hate to have to go KA-T route, and weld a bung to oil pan etc... sorry to be off topic bro... thanks, and GLWS

The bosses are there, but they're not tapped or faced. Starting with an NA block, it's straight forward to just drill and tap the holes to NPT. Then you don't have to dick with banjo fittings or crush washers. I've got a garbage S14 NA block you can have if you want to practice.

You'll also need a waterneck solution. The DE's come with the S13 version without the coolant return port.

i'll take that block to fuck around with, i'll have clawhammer pick it up next time he's down there... and as far as the S13 style water neck, it DOES have the place for the coolant return or feed, but it's just not drilled... at least his has it...

Really? Mine came with an S13 neck. Whatever!

Tell Clawhammer to PM me when he has an idea of when he'll be around.

Clean stuff, you guys. Who wants to learn about motors and have a sweet setup on the cheap?

it was a S14 neck in the sense it had the casting for the water line, but it's not tapped

will do, he's down there now... i'll send him a text to see if he's riding in anything capable of carrying a short block... i'll let ya know what he says...

You should buy this other longblock, too! For only $250, you can have a veritable mountain of S14SR goodness.

still trying to figure out when ryan can get that block for me, if all else fails, i'm going to the desoto event on the 23rd and can throw it in the back of the S10 on the way down..

plus I'd like to shake your hand and buy you a beer, you helped me out more than a few times on here...

i'd buy the whole shiz if i wasn't up to my eyeballs in parts/projects as it is...
