WTB: 17" wheels for my MX6
I want a hot set of rollers for my 96 MX6. Lemmee know what you have, post pics please. Also, who has suggestions on the best way to lower the car without blowing a huge load? Coil-overs or springs?

for the mx6/ probe chassis the best over all suspension for ride/ preformance would have to be the K-Sport pro coilover system but can run you a pretty penny. You culd go the other route and buy springs/struts combo seprate. Eibach, lumminas, H & R are very good springs so are GC's. And for strut your stock ones wont cut it, if u were to lower your car on stock struts you will blow them with in a year promise. so you must get a strut that can be adjustable or be able to withstand the limit of lowering. I personaly would go with tockio blues. Dont be a dumbass and get KYB's like eveyone else, its strange that everyone using them says why is my ride so bumpy well its b/c kybs are stock struts duh!! lol also 17in rims are really going hurt your preformace. FD or millenia 16in rims are very light weigh and rather nice for stock rims. GL peace...

How would 17" wheels hurt performance? I can stay close to stock overall diameter and circumference with different tire profiles and there are plenty of light weight offerings out there. Besides, I want a better look for the car.

^ Nice lookin 6 btw.
I piked up some rx8 wheels and new yoko's. They look sick. I like that they have the Mazda factory lines, they look "appropriate" for the car. Very clean looking. I'm happy with them. Now just to lower it...
