i got a 91 hatch that was a DPFI (DX model) converted to MPFI, the guy just twisted and taped the wires together, not even a fucking crimp, then wired in a VAFC hack, again just twisted and taped.
i didnt realize the wiring was hack-jobbed in so when i converted to OBD1 the car wouldnt start. i removed the VAFC, rewired a ton a stuff, got correct jumper harnesses and all, but trying to diagnose a wiring problem on a car thats been hacked up like this is just plain retarded.
so now i have a d16z6 OBD1 ECU/Dizzy/o2 sensor, jumper harnesses for the dizzy and ecu to convert form OBD0 to OBD1 and botched wiring on the EF chassis.
ill be getting the under-dash wiring for the EF this week, just need the engine bay harness. id rather not have another converted DPFI to MPFI harness and just get a stock factory MPFI one. once i have the factory EF wiring in place ill just use the jumper harnesses and run a clean converted OBD0 to OBD1 car
