Why dont you just refer to it as a replica being that's what it is. Misinformation just is not cool. Im sure you probably didnt intend to misinform anyone. You'll be just as likely to sell it by advertising it as what it is. People normally dont bash rocking or selling fake parts if you dont try to pass them off as real. There are alot of hardcore people out there that are serious collectors of real deal Mugen parts and odds are you are probably going to encounter them on Honda boards or sections. They find that shit just a big DISS or slap in the face.

Put it like this. The real "MUGEN" B-series valve covers are discontinued. The molds from the factory at Mugen have been destroyed. That makes the real ones more rare than ever cause even if you have the money to get one new, you cant. Not to many people who own them will ever even sell them and if they do they are usually sold to someone in that enthusiast realm.

You can see how the far right bottom spark plug cover bolt hole lines up with the middle of the N on the replica. On the real authentic model the hole is at lined up between the E and the N. The material and manufacturing process of that replica is nowhere near the quality of the real deal either. If I was misinformed and didnt know any better, I would feel fucked over if I traded a real JDM ITR Valve cover for a fake mugen valve cover once someone pointed it out to me or I discovered it on my own. Thats just screwing someone. Not being a dick man, just dont try to pass shit off as something authentic/"official" if it isnt. If it was real, you would know what it was worth and would not trade it for an oem itr valve cover.

First of all, you said your valve cover is official*[authentic], and trying to prove it by saying it came with your b16 from passwordjdm. Second of all if that's a real Mugen valve cover, those douchebags from password won't leave it on that engine 'cause of the douche's they are, they'll sell it for extra profit. And I'm not hatin', just making sure some of the ppl in this forum that who didn't know the difference won't get deceived. And honestly I'll do the same to protect you.

Maybe he would try to trade his so called "authentic mugen cover" so someone would think they are coming out on top by getting an OG Mugen cover yet they would really be losing their oem ITR valve cover for some swap meet knock off goods.
