I dont know what your problem is but you might just need to take your old one off and take the o ring out (the big o ring) and clean it and put it back in. Sometimes that will fix your problem

if your boys engine is currently non vtec he can't make it vtec with just putting the seleniod on.he needs to do a mini me or buy a vtec sohc engine and swap it.

Idk what he is doing to his civic
He just hit me up asking for me to get him one
But i think thats what he is trying to do is just try and put the vtec silonoid on it. I guess he will figure it out. lol
