i need help i have an obd1 p28 in my car but it dosn't have the led light so i can't see what codes my car is throwing, i'm just seeing if anyone has one i can borrow just to see what codes my car is throwing or if anyone wants to trade lmk asap but if you wanted to trade it would have to be a sohc vtec ecu so lmk asap thanx cya.

 

only obd0 has an led that flashes your codes. on obd1 you have to cross the two wire connector under the kick panel where your ecu is to get the trouble codes.

 

ive tried to cross the connector plugs but i dont know how. i cant find out which wire im supposed to cross.

 

its a little blue 2 wire conector hanging down by the ecu. just strip both ends of a piece of wire and stick the ends into the plug to make the connection. do it with the engine off and the key in the on position. your check engine light will flash your trouble codes.
