LT1 Parts

Ok once again im just not doing the LT1 swap. I am going to sell the car here in a few months so its not worth it to me. Here is what i have and would like to sell it all as a bundle. 200$ for everything.

Block, still has cross hatching. clean, spun 2 rod bearings and wiped out the crank. I have another stock crank to put in its place.

I may include the intake, not too sure yet.

Old pistons, pistons themselve are in good shape

I also have a water pump for it too. No valve train, cam, timing chain.

300$ for everything without intake and 400$ with intake. My price drop does is in no way of me needing money. Just the fact of i messed up till i re-read it today lol....

Do the swap, its 500% more worth it than an L98 swap.

He's right, I did the swap a few years back and the car is much more fun to drive!

yes and no, the L98 swap is easier to do because you dont have to mess with the new accessorys, cooling system nightmares, and such. Plus with a LT1 intake slapped onto a stock L98 it will make more HP then a stock LT1. Im not hurting for cash, just tired of it taking up space in the garage. What has stopped me tho in this swap is that my 200R4 was re-built with all new hard parts from CK performance to handle 800hp and I dont want to pull that tranny as the EFI doesnt have provisions for the TV cable for my car as they were CCC. I planned on going T56 and may still and just sell this trans for 2k or try to trade it but like i said id rather move on.

Just the intake on an L98 will not get you more power than an LT1, yes if you upgraded heads, cam, and put the intake on, then did a bunch of tuning, you'd likely be there, however you'll have spent more money than just doing the LT1 swap, and it wont drive nearly as nice, you'll still be using and old outdated ecu.

The 92-93 LT1 throttle body and throttle bracket have the provision for a TV cable.

is the geometry the same as the 200R4 would need?

Im about certain they share the same stuff with the 700R4, which is just what the renamed 4L60 (not E) that came on the 92-93 cars used.
