i have a 1997 dodge neon 4 door automatic, blue in color, for some reason it idols real low but while driving it runs good.. it sounds like it is running off three cylinders, i replaced the tps sensor the aic sensor, the map sensor, the fuel regulator/filter, and a new battery.. it could be the cam opr crank sensor is bad i dont know i am moving in two weeks and need it gone.. i am selling it for 800.00 or make me an offer. will take trades for something i can sell for the same value.. the body is good some small dings nothing major. paint is good except for the top of the trunk the paint came off.. interior is good carpets need to be clean and some floor mats put down but the dash is good as with the seats. likei said i need it gone make me an offer and come get it it can be driving away with no problem. pm me with an questions or offers..

dude you are crazy.. 200.00 i can scrap it for 350.00 and show me where you can buy neons for 500 running perfectly cause i got people who will buy them for 1500.00 each runniong perfect...

 

Well I bought my first neon for $500 it was a '97 4dr black SOHC, my '98 R/T I got for free, I picked up my '95 Sport Coupe for $400 a couple months ago and I got my '98 Neon Sport with power everything for $600 from a guy on eBay... All the cars had working a/c, ran perfect & had no problems. Check FloridaNeons.org All kinds of cheap cars on there. I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, just offering a price & some advice.

 

i put it in the flyer when it was runnning ok and got 30 calls the first day for it.. even now it says inthere it aint running good and i got like 20 calls i need this thing gone do you have any clue what it could be wrong

 

It's very hard to tell just by hearing the input from you... Could be many things, even as simple as having fouled plugs. I had a problem a while back where my car would idle like garbage but drive perfectly fine. Turned out to be the oil sending unit.

 

i dont have a check engine engine light on and when you unplug the 3rd fuel injector it runs a little better .real weird.. i know a pretty good bit about neons and still i couldnt figure it out i just dont have time..
