POLICE WILL NOT BLOCK DRIVEWAY AGAIN!


I met with the Pinellas Park city manager, chief of police, captain of police, city council member and other city officials friday morning. I expressed my concern for how they turned bike night upside down last week and how so many people were ticketed for trivial matters. The police department expressed their concerns over unsafe motorcycle operation in the city, speeding, fatal accidents and new riders without permits. Apparently, last time they tried to pull bikes over on 118th Ave, many speeding sport bikers wouldn't stop so they devised a plan to catch them on the way into bike night.

We agreed to work together to develop a safety education program that will let people know what is wrong with their bikes with a warning rather than a ticket. The police agreed they will not be coming back out to the Lube to ticket in 6 weeks. Thank you for your support as we worked through this road bump!

Wednesday is the last bike night before the $10,000 Fletcher's Cash Give away which is on Saturday 4/21/07 at 5 pm. Stormbringer Band will be performing. Radical Randy will be hosting and conducting the bike show. Our many vendors will be on hand. This is the first Saturday night Fletcher's give away!



Sunday 4/22/07 - Run with the Big Dogs poker run. Breakfast is served at 9-11am at the Lube. Redhawk Band will be playing as the event ends at the Lube from noon-3pm. Help support the group that finds homes for the greyhound dogs after they leave the track.

yeah this is bullshit, this reason is why i havent been in so long, the cops just love to harass bikers.

Imma go out on a limb here and say they pull sportbikes at night for checkin vins, and speeding/ agressive driving for the most part or wheelies, and the second group the harleys and metric cruisers are ushually pulled just to check if a DUI is needed. now to be honest with all of you i wouldent mind if they would just let the little shit like a tag light or eye protection slide if they pulled me to check DUI, i dont mind that that do that honestly because DUI rider/drivers are just begging for jail. i hate when people do it, just look at the mess it caused on CCC.

Oh and if they dont like you... they WILL FIND something to ticket you for. trust me.
