On the stock bottom end?

If so thats pretty damn impressive. Actually making over 550hp with under 10 PSI with such small motor is pretty damn impressive.

Hurst

the blocks are in the same constructive mateer as the aulstralian Teksid blocks. pistons and rods are forged and the crank is a beast.

the boys at BBR will be pushing that 10psi to 16 soon and most likely looking to break a record. keep it flying guys!!!

aulstralian Teksid blocks?

nvm,.

I see Mark got it straight.

From everything I've read the stock rods and pistons are still cast parts. Not forged. But I also read that they are much stronger than previous 4.6 rods and pistons. And stock cast 4.6 cranks have been known hold 600 - 700hp just fine. The problem was always the rods exiting the side of the block or a piston disintegrating. No reason the new 5.0 cranks would be any less stout.

I was just curious if he was making that HP on stock rods. That would be impressive for Ford. Stock LS1 rods and pistons have held up to 600hp so if Ford finally got it right or not I wanted to know.

Edit:
And for the record.
Its spelled Australian.
