I thought about putting in new balljoints, but I had the new control arms already. The Ford M-2300-K kit actually comes with a nice one peice spacer for this.

I stripped everyhting off and took it to a buddy that paints. He did it in his garage. He used Dupont paint, in the orginal color Scarlet Red. I think it has two coats of color and two of clear. It has been about 2 years since it was done and seems to be holding up pretty well. I replaced all the lights, emblems, gaskets, moldings and grommets. I think I spent more putting it back together than I did on getting it painted. I got a hell of a deal on the paint job. I can't say what he charges now days for one though. Can you say EPA?

Very nice Ben. Great attention to detail. I remember seeing it at NMRA in March.

Thanks guys!

It is a damn good car. Solid ass body too. My dad keep that thing it top shape for 16 years.

Current upgrades in progress:

1. Putting in a Areomotive pump controller.
2. Auto Meter Wide Band O2 gauge.
3. New cooling system, Edlebrock Victor pump, 160 deg Mr Gasket stat, Ford M-8005-C Radiator, DSO fan clutch.

Next up: Better bypass valve for the blower and looking at a Tremec swap.

Almost time to go the the dyno! It makes 10 lbs of boost quick and hits 12 before I shift. I wonder what kind of number it will put down.
