Not 100% positive yet but looking like it was timing or a failed piston. The motor has been in this condition since the end of September, just a little burned out with this combination I'm trying out.

See that's what I thought, but when I tore down the motor the top ring had no signs of butting together. I even tossed the rings in that cylinder to check end gap and it was set right.... :dunno:
