Stroked & Boosted????
Stroked & Boosted????
ok well ive been hearing a lot of different things on this subject so was wondering if any one had any clarification on this
I know using a stroker kit it will increase the motors torque, but u wont be able to rev as high. if u were going to boost the engine wouldn't that prevent you from using the charger to its fullest potential, and is super charging or turbo a better match for a stroked motor?
I know prolly a dumb question but just throwing it out there.

Ideally you want to get as close to 1.75 rod/stroke ratio as possible for max boost. Stroking creates more torque but is weaker due to longer rods and increased sideways force on the cylinder walls.
