Default Turbo compression?

I was wondering what compression ratio would work best with a high boost application. Specifically 20psi on an H22. What kinda of pistons do you guys recommend? Would this be a safe build without reinforcing the lower end? Also, what about turbo and vtec? Friends? Enemies?

Possibly, If I cant find a boost controller then it would be 20 daily. Otherwise I would still be running 20 quite often. 4-5 times a week.

All depends on about 12 other things-Fuel, CC shape, cam specs, rod ratio, piston design, rpm, turbo efficiency, intercoolded or not, wheter you need to pull vacuum, on and on

Maybe do some more research on your exact combo

Aside from the H22 hating boost... You're going to want fully forged internals on that motor to handle the horsepower that 20psi will be generating.

I wouldn't recommend going under 9:1 base C/R.

To bad that's not a honda.

Anyway I agree with Cronic, H Series aren't to boost friendly, I believe it's in the weak sleeves.
