Tial BOV
Ide like to take this small amount of server space to give props to Tial for a great product. ive had my tial bov for a few months now sitting on my desk. i took it apart to check out its inner workings, and its the most well desinged bov i have ever seen. the piston bolts around a diaphram (sp) that is held in by the two parts of the housing, making a perfect seal. just a week ago or so i finaly got to experance it in action. my buddy got one for his mr2.
it has a very percice action and holds boost or spool or what ever between shifts a lot better then the GReddy type S it replaced. and for you sound is most important in a bov people. it sounds awsome. kinda like a squiel followed by a whoosh. highly recomented part :D https://www.tamparacing.com/gallery/...3S-GTE-med.jpg |

This is why I recommend the TiAL blowoff valve to people pushing a good amount of boost. I have this blowoff valve (not installed yet). It sounds sick on Vapor's SR20.
|
With me its this vs the blitz supersound (current model).
I prefer the sound of the blitz.. but the quality of the Tial is unmatched... Is there really any downside going with the blitz tho? or should i just suck up my personal preferences and go with "what does the job" I figure most of ya'll will vote for the 2nd |
deffnatly go with the 2nd becouse sound is not a reason to buy a blow off valve.
|
well if the blitz dosent have relibility problems and manufacturing defects... then the tial and blitz are on a level field, and sound is the last defining choice

Which model / part # is this BOV ?
And where can I find more info. on them ? |
