Strobist: X3200 into a gridded beauty dish from above
2x Sunpak 555 into 43" umbrellas cam right and left
ABR800 on cam
Sb900 and SB800 as kickers behind subject cam left and right
X1600 with blue gel behind subject on background

You know, just because you have all those lights doesn't mean you have to use em all haha. But then again I would have done the same thing :lol:

Some people say i went overboard with the lighting, but it was necessary for the type of look i wanted. Sorta like a commercial playing off the highlights look. Sorta taking the elements i like from Greenberg, Hill, and Grimes, and trying to make my own style from it.

and btw i have more lights than this. Still waiting on the side were my additional x3200 and x1600. and countless softboxes, octabanks, and strip banks.

Well, you nailed the look you were going for. I personally think its a bit hot, but then again the PP brought plenty of life back into it. I may have also went a bit higher with the hair light due to the shadow its casting on your neck.

Still a nice shot, certainly effective.

yeah i noticed that too, sucks when you are doing it yourself. and cant see stuff like that. Ill have to fix that in post. that kicker is also casting a shadow from my sweater which sucks.
