Love the DOF in #1...great shot!

For being mid-day, the lighting isn't harsh at all. I think they all look great.

 

#1 is money 4&5 are nice too.

The rest, really have no composition. And seem snapshotish.

Thanks guys. Yes, #1 is my favorite from the day.

DD, I see what you mean by snapshottish. I think I have started getting into that detail phase of photography and want to get in close and fill the picture with the subject. I guess I need to remember to step back more and compose more than just the subject sometimes and give a sense of location instead.

SayWhaa? I didn't see any snakes. Hopefully I'll get back soon and see some more creatures.
