WTB: SLR Camera

Looking to buy a Canon or Nikon SLR camera. I have a Rebel Xti that just gave up on me with a error99 code, so I need to find a new camera. Ill do another Canon if the price is right, but I think I may be switching over to Nikon since this is the second Canon product to fail on me inside their first year of use.

LOL, oops.

lol its all good. but when my friend got her rebel, it felt weird to me. i just didnt like it, and i dont like how digital pics are always stuck on the camera. noone devolopes them all and then when the camera fails, if the didnt back it up with a sd card, those pics are gone.

but then again its a pain in the ass to get film on a computer so....... catch 22

What do you mean by pics stuck on the camera? You know you can change the setting so that the camera only uses the card right?

uh yeah, i take my pics, upload to my computer then delete from camera. then back up on my external HD. not difficult.

i had my nikon d50 for a yeah and a half, no problems, then my d300 now is going on like a year and a half, no problems. if you take care of stuff they typically wont get messed up. but yes, canon's have been throwing more error codes than anything else from what i've heard lately
