$275 for a 6mp camera seems pretty steep. A lot of people have better quality camera's on their phones nowadays.

lol .... looking at ur flickr u should know a little about photography so how in the world can u compare a DSLR to a phone camera... and most people know that MP really has nothing to do with image quality ... u only take MP into account if u plan to blow the photo up ... and with a 6mp camera u could go as much as 30" x 40" .... so if u are planning to blow up a photo bigger then that then maybe look into something like a D90 or D7000 but those would run u $1k+ so i think 275 is a fair deal...... this same camera is going for 300+ on KEH.com

First off, if you blew a 6mp picture up to 30x40, it would be less than 80 dpi. Good print resolution for a picture that size is no less than 200 (in my opinion). Making a 6mp picture that big would look pixelated and awful.

And the camera itself doesn't necessarily mean much for image quality either. The iPhone Fashion Shoot By Lee Morris | Fstoppers shows that an iPhone (and about 8 grand in lighting equipment) can get you pretty great pictures.

All I'm saying is that 275 for a 7 year old camera that can be bested by most smart phones, and not even including a lens, is pretty steep.

ok well thats ur opinion and please keep those to yourself or voice them in a PM and not a thread ...since they are a opinion ... shouldnt u know this being a member since 2006? or are u just dumb?

secondly .... ur theory doent hold .... u can get great shots with a single speedlight and a DSLR where it takes 8grand worth of lighting PP to get the same photos from a iphone
