well the problem with finding a front wheel drive sr20det is that there were never any produced by nissan. You will need to import either a GTIR motor or a bluebird SSS motor, both were origionally all wheel drive, but will bolt to a front wheel drive SE-R transmission.

Hey thanks for the suggestions - My pulsar just broke a bypass valve on my ca16de, and I was going to put a sr20det into that car, but it is way to many problems and to much fabrication to make it fit. I have decided I want to sell my pulsar and purchase a b12 90-94 sentra. The SR20det bolts right in and the car weighs about the same as my pulsar... Thanks for the help

Matt's right, CA18 is your best avenue. If you decide to go SR20 or GTIR, drop me an e-mail and I'll help ya get one.

I was thinking about going the ca18det route, but when you bring overall pricing into the game wouldn't I be better off with the sr20det swap? Correct me if I am wrong, but atleast that way I could get aftermarket parts fot my motor.

An Australian company just brought out this body kit for the pulsar (The only bolt on kit in the world for pulsars) What do you think?

Nope, nope, and nope. If you wanna a "good" kit, then lemme know, and with a lil effort, you can make your own.

Dsonik1 - Where can you get body kits for the nissan pulsar? Granted that kit isn' t the nicest kit, but it is the only bolt on kit currently made for the pulsar. Why can you get kits for the pulsar somewhere? I have never seen any other bolt on kits, and the cost of making one would be way more expensive then just getting an ok bolt on kit - just my opinion though - whaddya think?
