Question 240 clutch

I'm in need of a new clutch on my 98 240sx.

For a run of the mill low power KA, what clutch would work well?

I'm considering ACT street disc or the SPEC stage 2.

they are both good clutches, they both engage pretty good from what i have driven (spec 3 is basically same but holds a little more power).

Can anybody vouch for SPEC's quality? Haven't heard much about them, but they look alright.

spec stage 3 has held up to 454hp / 335Tq in my car with no problems. they have a much better pedal feel than ACT as well. my clutch has a pedal pressure that is the same as stock yet has a torque holding capacity that is almost 200% of what the stock is. i would not get their stage 1 as i have heard of problems with that. but the rest of the line is tip top!!

I posted a similar thread on freshalloy and they also said that the spec has a softer pedal feel.

Maybe I don't know what I want, but I think I'd like a little stiffer pedal. I don't know how much harder the pedal is with the ACT, but I think I'd like that.

I haven't driven one, so I'm not sure.

Good to hear that they're both quality products.
