My posting history speaks for itself. It is open for all to see.
People can decide for themselves. If I speak the truth or not.

Elitist, considering your experience, would you consider looking over TR's tech forums? There are some people over there with questions. They could benefit from your ability. I believe you to be one of the knowledgeable members
of which you speak.

Not everyone wants to put wear on their car at a race track, but ........
I believe that a lot of people actually would go to a TR sponsored meet. I know that I go to a lot of things. Last year Dr Morty held a hot dog cookout at a park and got a really good turnout. This year when I sent an inquiry to his business, Tampa Bay Pawn, I got no response. I did have a good time in Orlando last Saturday at Titan Motorsports Grand Opening. The food was catered in by Tijuana Flats. It was a great day. I like hanging out with car people who are in a good mood and I like to eat.... lol

If you know of some car meets, you might post them in local events.-Bob

I currently own a bike shop and still do a few cars here and there. I'm not trying to sound cocky or arrogant, my point is this. Young 16-17 year old kids have nothing to offer the site but questions, without experienced people to answer those questions they will go elsewhere. Get some knowledgeable members on here, people who can actually give some help and advise and the site will once again succeed. People join TR to learn, if there is no one to learn from they aren't going to stick around. That is what this site once was, it was a place to bounce ideas, a place to get advise, a place for members to come together to help each other. The TR sponsored events and meets were ok I guess but let's face it a very very small portion of the members from TR would actually go to them. Lastly my final suggestion would be to make the site easy to use, time effective to navigate through, if you're 16-17 years old you have all the time in the world, those of us that are a but older don't have the time to waste trying to navigate the site, such as the Nissan for sale section no longer being attached to the Nissan tech section, that just makes it take longer for me to go through both and to be quite honest I'm not going to because it's to much of a hassle, if I come on TR I am now going through one or the other. The reason I felt the need to comment on your grammar and spelling is this, this site is filled with uneducated ignorant people take the time to literately type things out and people will take you more seriously.

I know that was a bit long winded, read it or don't, take my advise or don't, after the years TR has given me I felt the least I could do is give my input.

Tom,
Been thinking about what you said. Sort of a cost-benefit analysis...
For Sale sections close to vehicle specific forums.

Some negatives:
Someone has to do the work of opening a thread next to the specific vehicle.
There are 15 specific vehicle sections.

Some positives:
1. People who come here interested in a specific vehicle, may browse over the
for sale stuff related to their car and may linger a bit, maybe post something
related to the car they are interested in.
2. A little less work for someone to do: Some car specific sections already/still HAVE some for sale ads there.
That means part of the work is already done.
3. The poster of a for sale ad might also linger a bit.

Anyone want to share some other thoughts?-Bob

Them there's the numerous times I asked in the admin section for this to be fixed since they were moved out of the tech sections a year ago for some stupid reason.

Doesn't really matter now it's finally fixed.
