anyone know the easiest way to change the fuel pump on a nissan altima? do you have to drop the fuel tank or is there a better/easier way to do this?

find out if there is access to it under the rear seat or trunk carpeting. if not, you might have to. i highly doubt it, nissan usually made them pretty accessible.

You do not have to drop the tank on the Altima. Remove the rear seat bottom, which requires removal of two 14mm bolts. You will then see an access panel that covers the entry into the gas tank.
If you do not want to install it yourself, feel free to call me at J-TEC Performance at 813-546-3524. The install will take about an hour or so.
Peace,
