HELP WITH TRANNY
I have a 96 max, and my tranny is about to go out. I found a newer one with less miles and I am trying to find someone who knows how to put it in. Kinda hoping you guys and gals know how or can recommend someone who isnt going to rape me in labor costs. Any help will be very much appreciated. If you know how to do it I have no prob paying just trying to keep it under a $1,000 ordeal. Y'all have help out before just thought I would give ya a try again.
Thanks
Brandon

You should get left and right differential oil seals. They are the seals on the tranny where the axles slide into. They are a PITA to change out on the car and it is a good idea to change them while tranny is out of the car. They should cost around $8-9 each. Get them from a Nissan dealer. OEM parts are much higher quality than aftermarket parts, especially when it comes to oil seals.
Peace,
