Has anyone taken there car to be "tuned" at Z fever and be less then disappointed
So I call up my roommate this morning to see if he picked up his 240 yet from Z Fever, and to my suprise heard something I wasn't expecting to hear. He was told that his rb25 swap, with a precision 62 62 , "freddy" intake manifold, equal length exhaust manifold, 775 Injectors, z32 maf(which they made him change to from a q45, for some reason?) fuel pressure reg. and walbro 255 pump only made 220 to the wheels. What the fuck is that? Anyone else had an exp. like this?

Now there is one side of a story. Where's the other? Obviously there's more......

thats def a low number for the supporting mods, but there is def another side to the story. maybe there was a mechanical or electrical problem(pump pressure, wastegate, turbo, ecu.) Before you start blaming shops and people you should prob get the other side of the story.

Even pretune with a bc you could make more.... Obviously something was out of place. Much rather you pissed about your numbers then pissed about your blown motor... "it did make 380... Before it blew" and in the end your still tuned for your setup and can juice it up when u fix your problem(s).

numbers are numbers. i will say this, the q45 is good for 400hp, and the z32 is good for 500hp, from what i've learned, so at 220hp there should have been a "need" to change maf's yet

um. Tom made 300 by the end of the day and had to fix some shit to get it tuned properly.
Martin called me earlier that morning telling me some dumb shit he saw. Tom's a cool dude, so I'm pretty sure OP is trying to stir shit. but reply to thread. NOPE. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBhex...layer_embedded |
