Question Quick question need some help

Hey guys quick question. i have a 1990 Nissan Hardbody. Im thinking about buying a s13 shell and just swaping the ka24e ( out of the hardbody )into the s13 shell. i know i know, why would you swap a single cam into it? Its because im kinda on the broke side and im going to save up for a SR20 to swap in later and just want something to drive until then. But I just wanna know if its possable to take the ka24e outa the hardbody and just throw it in the s13? Thanks

yea with the exception of exhaust. just then engine is a direct bolt in, drive shaft is different. just save up while you drive your truck. you're gonna need something to transport parts for your project too!

alright cool. transporting parts is not a problem. My neighbour has a truck that he will let me borrow. i could use my truck to tow the s13 shell then start from there. Thanks

good idea.

The oil pans and pickups are different, and are in different locations. They don't work in the other vehicles, because they interfere with other moving parts. The motor mounts are physically the same, but with the front/rear sump pans it still wont work. Then there is the intake manifold, I dont even know if the truck one will clear the cars engine bay.

Your best bet is to drive your truck, and save up for a swap or something.

I don't get it, if you need something to drive... why not already drive your functioning truck . While you save up for the SR swap in your 240 shell ?
