is that they're Stage 5 disk with their Super Clamp pressure plate?

It's not that difficult to destroy a ka/sr transmission... I'm on my third one. My car is nowhere near as powerful as Chris or Ed's. 350-400 whp is usually the breaking point for those things.

Brett uses a sr trans on his 1uz lexus v8. He had a machine shop custom make the adapter. I think he said it cost him about $500. Im sure the sr to vq could be done, but it's gonna cost ya.

what are you going to to do you speedometer? i think the z33 sits back 8" from original location how far is the z32?. im actually considering this also, 6 gear is a nice wow factor, but supposebly early model 350z trans have syncro issue. so its up in the air

just check the batch number on your tranny. it will tell you if you have the not soo good one. good one should say 009

no it will have 009 stamped in to the bell housing. i tried to find a picture to show you but i am tired.. its there if it is the correct one. I believe it actually reads CD009. this tranny was not for 09 cars it was a replacement for many 03,04, and 05 since they kept screwing up.
