cus i figured the tune up reff was one of the ways i fucked up trying to commiunicate ... thanks for your advice ...i think i should just need to go retake an english class again then come back and try again....

it aint me fuckin posting. no thunder cat in that post....i still got my account. I think his problem is is he is under looking the "small things" the MANY things that will allow you to incorrectly build a motor and have it run like shit,tming, which for a beginner and it sounds like you are a beginner just in its own will be a fucking project understanding, and its not just being able to time it, its understanding how timing works like overlap, duration ect. things like diagnosing problems like 02 sensor, maf problems, shit thats plain plugged in, but bad. Tolerances, how to build a engine and maintaining it to be clean in the process, what to torque first and how to torque it correctly. WHy you need different plugs for a turbo engine and how to gap them correctly. If you want to know how to fuck up a build fast mix the oil rings up, put your motor back together without turning it over and wonder why it runs like shit, bet youll fuck with the timing for a month till you pull the plugs. their is so much that you have to understand but I would do a stock rebuild first, and before I did that I would take my NEW used motor apart after i make sure it runs and rebuild it 2 OR 3 times and made sure it ran correctly int he car each time, then do a stock rebuild THEN do your forged build. if you dont understand timing correctly you will throw a valve threw a piston like i did. its better to fuck up a stock rebuild or even a running used motor before fucking up a nice motor.
