Im looking at this car for sale and that is what it says is the only problem with the mechanical condition of the car. Im not sure but it seems kind of wierd that 2 injectors go out at the same time? What do you guys think the problem is? Just 2 new injectors and its good?

 

If that's really the only problem don't you think he would just change them out?

I wouldn't believe it. I'd knock the price way the fuck down and assume that something major is wrong with it.

 

He claims to be broke and thats why he hasnt changed them out. He actually bought some new ones and they where the wrong ones and he is moving this week and cant take the car.

Now someone answer the question posted please.

 

What do you want us to do exactly? We can't tell if the guy is telling the truth... hard to say if that's all you'll need to do. Maybe the ECU is shitting out and causing injector issues. Maybe the grounds are bad, maybe the harness is bad. There's no one answer to your question.

If the question you need answered is "can 2 injectors go out at the same time?" the answer is sure, maybe. Maybe a bad fuel filter clogged two of them up. Maybe a bad tank of gas put shit in the tank and killed the injectors. I don't think you can say that two will necessarily break at the same time, but it's a possibility.

 

Thanks for the great smart ass response i assumed people could figure out the question. The car runs like shit, the guy claims two injectors are bad like i quoted and why the hell would i ask you if he is telling the truth.

more detailed and new question = 2 injectors are bad, Can the problem not actually be the injectors but something else to only affect 2 of them (i dont think thats a ground) Will a bad ecu affect only 2. Fuel filters are cheap so ill deffinatly grab one of those.
