Default Intake plenum spacer

So I was trying to order a new intake plenum to head gasket for when I install the new head on my SR and I ended up ordering a spacer instead, should have paid more attention. I think I am going to use it but it seems to me that there should be a gasket for each side since it is hard plastic and I'm going to need longer studs, right? Or should I just scrap the plastic and get a plain old gasket?

give me the plastic, and get a plain old gasket...

as far as a gasket on either end, i wouldn't think so, if you properly TQ the bolts, it should create a good seal.... but that's just speculation on my part...

i'll take it off your hands.... $10.... lol

The plastic is the gasket. Don't put gaskets on the plastic spacer... You'll probably need two longer bolts for either end, but the studs should be the right length.

Spacer will seal itself. Once you get a few heat cycles on it, just check the bolts and give them an extra snug.

Your going to need longer bolts to ensure an efficient seal. The studs on both ends of the manifold should be ok. Of course you'll have to stick to torque specs/order on the manifold but it will work in replace of a gasket just fine. Might squeeze some extra hp if your lucky. (nothing noticeable)

That's right, I was backwards. Studs are OK, you need new bolts... Haha. Knew it was one of them.
